I visited Mexico in 2013 for a photography field study. I loved every minute of it! I was blown away by the beauty of the city and the landscapes. The people were wonderful and inviting.
2016 was the year I had the opportunity to visit Romania. I traveled with a small group of fellow graduate students with the goal of working in various schools and assisting in English language classrooms. We made some great connections and had some amazing experiences in one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
At the start of my Eastern European journey, I made a weekend stop in Budapest. One weekend was in no way long enough. This beautiful city is one of the most vibrant places I have ever been too. I am eager to visit again.
In 2015 we went on a much-needed vacation. Friends of ours were living in Japan at the time so we decided to visit and do some sightseeing. The culture, scenery, people, and food were amazing! I felt so comfortable in a place so far away. Since I had never before been to an Asian country I was expecting to feel some culture shock, but I was surprised to find that I felt very comfortable. The people are very welcoming and polite. We found the efficiency and ease of travel to be very helpful and something to be desired.
Ireland is a place that is very near and dear to my heart. I studied in Dublin and Galway during the summer of 2011. I made some great friends and fell in love with the country.
One of my favorite cities ever! I have had the privilege of visiting Edinburgh three times (so far). It is the home of my ancestors and one of the most beautiful and historic cities I have been too.
